I gave this chronicle of the Carrington brothers 5 stars because I never ever expected that the eldest son of this prosperous family, this CEO of the family business carried such a deep secret. This whole saga ( that to be honest at times I wasn't sure if this brother, Jack could ever find his soul mate and happy ever after) was written so differently, so skillfully, and so edgier than the first story (Jason's story). I found myself asking, more than once, where is A.C. Arthur going with this? Even the heroine had some cray- cray stuff going on that was hard to grasp. The storyline unfolded like a true mystery with the author throwing a curve ball through a character or a scene when you were expecting a fast ball. I'll just say that this hero and heroine were not typical at all. They had some "issues" that were real and deep to resolve and overcome before they could get to a place where they could finally take a deep breath and woosah. I liked Jason & Celise's story with its plot twists and turns in the first Carrington Chronicle, Wanting You. BUT Jack and Melanie/Tara's story (that's a hint right there) in Needing You with its plot double loops and hairpin turns will take you on a wild trip. I LOVED IT! The next Carrington Chronicle, Having You will feature the 3rd Carrington brother, Jerald. I can't wait to read that one because I can only imagine what that brother is up to. It's going to have to go some to beat this one.Product details

This book was a page turner. I could not put the ipad down. This story had so many twists and turns. It keep you wanting to know what next. I love reading AC Arthurs book. She is a fabulous writer and her books keeps you wanting more. These Carrington men are not only gorgeous, sexy and smart. They also have some skeleton in the closet. Once they find love, they will do anything to keep it. Looking forward to the next installment of The Carrington Chonicles.
Oh how I loved this book. A.C. Arthur is an amazing writer. In this book she threw me for a loop when she revealed that Jana was actually the twin sister of Tara. Then she topped it off with revealing their Real names. This book was great from beginning to end. I usually can figure out who is doing what before the end of a book but A.C. Gave me a shocker. Keep up the great writing!!!
I wish we could have went into more of The Corporation a bit. That place was the most intriguing part of the book. Tara wasn't very engaging, because we don't know on what she looks like physically only mentally. Jackson was too good to be true. A lot of his dialogue, a real man would not say. In comparison to the first book, Jason was way more mentally tied to the book. His determination to win the girl and fix the hotel connected with me. Jackson didn't do anything, and couldn't even rescue the girl.
An APB Perspective Review
Really really enjoyed this story, Ms Arthur always thorough in her storytelling. The suspense was great, although, I suspected who done very early in the story, It still was a great unfolding of the plot. Nice twist of the relationship between the heroine and victim. The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is because there is a part near the end that made me shake my head at how the hero was robbed of being a hero, in my opinion. Other than that, wonderful story that I recommend to anyone who wants a sexy, romantic story, with murder and mayhem skillfully woven throughout.
AN APB PERSPECTIVE
This was my first time reading this authors' work, I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The storyline captured my attention and held it. I enjoyed the characters and their roles! I wish Tara would have just come clean initially but I understand why she didn't. I did want Jackson to be her hero in the end but, I guess she became her own hero, because he was knocked out pretty much during her battle at the end! I was also glad to see that Russ wasn't the bad guy and that surprised Tara as well. However, I was glad that they found each other and their happiness together. Very good read!!
This book was wonderful, different from Jason's story but just as good. I initially wondered who was terrorizing Tara. Russ was too obvious. Emilio Alverez had it bad for Tara. After her twin sister, Jana was murdered, she testifies and is placed into a Witness Protection Program with a name change. It turns out that Jack actually met her twin sister in New York that is why Tara couldn't remember meeting him. Jack and Tara's love story is beautifully developed. I enjoyed this book so much, I am buying the next book now to begin reading it. I love this author.
Needing you the second book in the Carrington Saga and some twist and turn you will not see coming. Jackson Carrington the oldest and CEO of the family business he also has a side business that no one in the family knows about “The Corporation”. This is the one place Jackson feels as if he can be himself and live out his fantasies. It was at the Corporation where he first lays eye on Tara Sullivan.
Tara Sullivan is a woman who had lived a shelter life until the day she left for college. When her sex life leads her into another direction she never thought it would lead her into the witness protection program where she has to go undercover. Jackson and Tara runs into each other again and this time Jackson is determine that Tara will not get away a second time.
This book will keep you turning pages because you want to find out twist and turn this book is going to leave you with.
